  1. Isn't that why the US uses lethal injection?

  2. I THINK OVERDOSE OF MORPHINE, MY DAD RECENTLY PASSED AWAY AND HE DIED IN SPAIN BUT AS SOON AS THE FAMILY ARRIVED FROM ENGLAND THEY UPPED THE MORPHINE, I SPOKE WITH HIM AND ASKED "DAD ARE YOU IN ANY PAIN"? FOR THE FIRST TIME HE SAID NO NONE AT ALL, HE HAD A VERY AGRESSIVE FORM OF CANCER. AFTER UPPING THE MORPHINE MORE AND MORE HE PASSED AWAY QUIETLY IN NO PAIN. XXXXXX

  3. pretty much no

  4. if they didn't know and it was fast

that's more humane i would suppose

but i doubt there is a real humane way

  5. Do you need some ideas?

No I don't think there is a humane way to kill someone...I mean, killing isn't humane.

I imagine someone will beg to differ..

  6. Tell me, is it right that someone who abuses and screws a childs life up should get a nice jail cell and all that the state can provide for a few years until he gets parole?I don't really care if a kiddy fiddling piece of scum suffers the most horrific death possible.

How can there be a humane way to kill someone? After all, the act of killing someone is to finish the natural life of someone, usually without the consent of the person involved.Funny thing is that people who oppose the death penalty never consider the impact of how some scumbag wrecking a family's life may impact on the family involved..the shattered lives, the VICTIM.As for the murderer/rapist/child molester, may they have a horrid and painful death.

  7. The firing squad!

The Guillotine! It was much used by the French during the Terror period of the French Revolution.

Unless you want to kill them in their sleep. But that isn't fair. A murderer should have to face death with a clear mind. It maybe that he will repent before he dies, so that God can save his soul.

  8. Modern society can afford to keep all criminals alive for life. It was difficult for the Germans to do it but they put good people in prison camps.

  9. Albert Pierrepoint always claimed hanging was the most humane method of killing someone, he certainly became the most profficient at his craft.

In 1951 at Strangeways prison, James Inglis was taken from his prison cell to be hanged, he was pronounced dead seven seconds later.

  10. i think that's a contradiction in terms.  how can killing someone be humane?

besides, from t.v. documentaries i've seen, executing someone is not an easy job.  it sometimes involves unnecessary suffering.

  11. Fast, I would say. The quicker the more humane.

  12. as long as its quick, but that might be to good for those who deserve it.

  13. i think the most humane way would be by a headshot, because it's quick and painless.

  14. Probably carbon monoxide poisoning during sleep.

People accidentally die in their sleep from carbon monoxide poisoning in their home all the time, it seems pretty painless (and sad.)

  15. it's humane as long as it's pain free

  16. letting them die of old age?

  17. lol - why r u obsessed w/ this subject - maybe u need ur head checked -

    r u lookin 2 do some1 in - i would b worried about ur mental state/capacity -

    weird ppl out there -

u would b put on my terrorists list -

i dont know - just my opinion -

  18. The problem in your question is one of terms. Humane implies compassion and compassion precludes killing. Perhaps the question would be better if you ask what is the most painless way to kill a fellow human.

It is amazing to see that people considered always like bad guys like the Red Chinese  and the Soviets came up with the single shot at the back of the head while the good guys in the US fry people in the electric chairs, asphixiate them in gas chambers or inject them with pain causing drugs when not hanging them by the neck that may be instantaneous or not depending on the hangman's skill. A shot in the head may be gruesome but the person will hardly feel anything while the American methods are slow and proven to be painful. The shot in the head is personal, the American methods are impersonal except for the hangings that have been discontinued. That's the whole difference.
