Tell me, is this bike worth 2200?

I'll be paying 2200. Unfortunately I cant find out how many miles it has on it. Its owned by a the family running their own sportbike shop. So I'm fairly confident that it will be in good condition and was well taken care of. I'll be getting a free helmet with it. And at least I'll have a place to take it back to if something goes wrong. I think the price might be a wee bit high, but I dont know. Even if its overpriced, i'll still be getting it, best deal I can get around here unfortunately, nonetheless, im excited. Going out tommorow. Has a clean title. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Oh yeah, I know it has performance parts in it, so its not great for a beginner, but I plan to take it easy and be real careful with it. I still expect to hear thats out of your league comments, but meh.

OK First off this information will help you and everyone who buys anything. RULE #1 always ask for a discount, if you shop at Sears, Home Depot,  shoe store, or anywhere,from anyone, or when you buy a new or used vehicle (motorcycles are a form of vehicle) if they want 2200 ask them if you can get it for1500, if they say no ask them how little will they take for it. if they say 2000 go for 1800 if yo bargain down 100 you saved 100, if you save 700 great job go to dinner on that bike. Mull you are convinced so why ask us? I'd say move on to the next bike. There are a lot for sale and most are not 15 years old.

No the bike is not worth that much money.  I would say $1200-1500 depending on condition.

I think it's a 1992, if that's the original paint.

Yes, the price is high.  Get them down below $2000.

It's a good choice for a beginner.

They're saying "performance parts" without naming any, so I'm thinking there may not be any.
