  1. I wish had known to keep my legs close and my head in the books:-)


  2. Ok I may not have much to offer because I am only 23 but I surely can tell you what I wish I had known or want other people to know at 20...

    1. Growing up is not all its cracked up to be...plzzz don't rush!

    2. Study hard in school...it matters

    3. Definitely enjoy yourself and have fun while responsibilities are low because h**l is right around the corner.

    4. Whatever you think is the end of the world right now really isn't so take a deep breath and push through it trust me in a few years you WILL laugh at your "PROBLEMS".

    5. Take care of your skin NOW

    6. You probably have more energy now than you EVER will (sometimes) so enjoy it now!

    7. Make great memories, make sure you can look fondly back on these years.

    8. Make friends...REAL friends that you can carry through all the important moments of your life that you will start experiencing.

    9. Wish I had really known how REAL life is after college. It's a struggle out here...but you can make it.

    10. Slow down...you don't want to rush away your youth...you can never get it back!

  3. im not to much older but i have learned alot of hard lessons...

    dont go into debt..

    go to school

    have fun...

    enjoy being young...

    dont grow up to fast...

    the real world is hard work..lol

    experience new things once you get a family alot of that will go away..

  4. 1)  no matter how much I care, some people just don't care back.

    2) that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.

    3)that no matter how thin you slice it, there are always two sides

    4) that you can keep going long after you think you can't

    5) that either you control your attitude or it controls you.

    6) that learning to forgive takes practice

    7) that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down will be the ones to help you get back up.

    8) that  I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me

    the right to be cruel

    9) that sometimes when my friends fight, I'm forced to choose sides even when I don't want to.

    10) that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

    The gym is not a hostile place.  You won't get beat up there.

    Migraines can be treated, not just endured.

    Forget dancing--become a DJ.

    Don't sweat the small stuff, but don't let anyone tell you it's all small stuff.

    Friends will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no friends.

    The world's a big place and you can't fix all of it, but it still matters who you vote for.

    Believe in the god you know, even if it's not the one you've been told about.

    You are not punished for the sin, you are punished by the sin.

    Taking ownership of your problems doesn't mean that they're all your fault.

    Finding out whose fault your problems are isn't the same thing as solving them.

  6. I'm 34 now...

    1. Experience as much of life as possible, travel everywhere, and don't get tied down in a serious relationship until your mid to late twenties.

    2. Don't try and be everything to everybody. Just be yourself and then you'll figure out who your true friends are.

    3. Get as much education you can when you are young. Don't delay or wait it out. The older you get the harder it gets to go back to school.

    4. Get a job with benefits and start saving into a 401K now if possible and max it out. You'll be thankful you did.

    5. Take some sort of sales training. No matter what field you go into. It will help you in all walks of life ( you'll learn to communicate better, make presentations in front of audiences, negotiate and get people to see your point of view)

    6. Read the newspaper and stay informed, read books about subjects that you never knew about before (it will open your eyes up to a new world)

    7. Life is too short to be mad at a good friend or family member for something petty. Forgive and forget.

    8. Take lots of pictures because memories will fade so fast and you'll regret not having anything to look back on.

    9.  Always be open minded about everything, but don't be afraid to make a stand. If something doesn't feel right in your gut then it probably isn't.

    10. Keep yourself in shape. Go to the gym and eat healthy. You'll feel better about yourself and how you look. Plus it will give you a good structure when you get older.

    11. Get involved with a co-ed sports league (softball, volleyball, bowling, whatever) it's a great way to meet new people and have fun while doing it.

    12. Don't be afraid to try new things (food, different music, etc) Order something different from the menu.

    13. Don't waste your time hanging out with negative people. Find someone you can laugh with and be a goofball around. Life is so much more fun that way.

    5 That I should not have spent so much of my life trying to make people like me

    6 That being a kid is the most fun you'll ever have and when you get older (I know I'm only 24, but still...) life gets too hectic and costly to enjoy to the fullest

    7 That real friends will be there in the long run and the fake ones won't!

    8 That being on your own isn't all it's cracked up to be

    9 That saving your money would be super beneficial rather than spending it all

    10 That life is a beatiful thing, but it's surely not easy!

    Exercise, exercise, exercise

    Take a good quality (pharmecutical grade) vitamin-mineral supplement.

    Build your career before building a relationship (become independent of people).

  10. I would've hit on more chicks.  Now I'm married with my life pretty dull.  Have a lot of fun.  Be careful in the bedroom.  Study a lot so you can make $$$$$$.
