  1. Nothing, stop listening to the fearmongering AGW crowd and move towards the light, you will feel much better if you just ignore them.

The earths climate will regulate itself and there is nothing we can do to change it, the worlds atmosphere has too many variables for us humans to control.

  2. Pray that people will become aware of the actuall causes of  why we are worring about these things?

  3. Hey didn't you get the memo?

They are calling it "global climate change" now since we've been in a cooling pattern for the last 10 years.  Hybrid cars are worse for the environment- do some research on nickle mining and also what happens to those batteries when the cars are junk- they are expected to last only 100,000 miles, which would actually make a hummer a better choice by purely conservationist thought. (I wouldn't drive one either if given the choice).

Recycling only makes sense in a few areas- it usually costs more and wastes more fuel transporting and processing the items being recycled... newspaper is heavy! Trees are renewable (there are more today in N. America than ever before).

Think with your own brain. Don't be a mindless drone taking everything you are taught as fact when they can't prove it. I guess the fear factor is working on you. Do some real research yourself.

Al Gore even admitted that he has his money invested in companies promoting "green" initiatives. oh, he also refuses to answer questions about the global food shortage because of the promotion of corn based ethanol in fuel.

Do what makes sense! Don't live in fear!

  4. Turn your lights off when u dont really need it

    Reuse, Recycle, Refuse, Reduce

Don't buy books, instead borrow books from the library

    Use public transport

Take shorter showers (Even though u'll be smelly)

    Dont waste paper

Buy Eco-Friendly things such as eco-bags for groceries or hybrid cars like the Nano

Dont put ur DVD player on standby, completely switch it off

    Eat less cheeseburgers (I'm serious)

    AND THERS WAY MORE

  5. Brush your teeth with the water off.

Turn off your lights, when you aren't using them.

Unplug everything you are not using, even if that thing is not on, because it still takes energy.

    Recycle, recycle, recycle!

    Don't litter!

Encourage others to do the same.

Don't use plastic products, (such as plastic bags, etc.).

    Spread the word.

  6. Remove your own carbon footprint , Quit breathing!,do it for your country!

  7. well no ONE person can stop global warming.

i set up recycling progam at myschool this year.

  8. Just quit worrying about it.  This is just a farce so our hard earned money could get taxed even more.

  9. 1. Realize Global Warming is a term coined by the rich and elite to gain more power and control over you. In the form of taxes, higher prices, etc. As we are now seeing.

    2. Realize that carbon is the very basis of life and all green items need it to live. The higher the carbon, the longer, richer, greener and more healthy these green items are.

    3. We are currently right now at a low period of carbon, not a high one. The earths temperature has not raised more than 1.4 degree's and that is 100% within normal range.

    4. The slight heating and odd weather/droughts are not due to Global Warming, but due to an over active Sun cycle with sun spots. This is why Mercury lost most of its ice cap and one of Saturns moons went from ice to water. I do not think our SUV's did that.

    5. The real fight is to get off gas, oil, heating fuels, etc. As it is all to make the same fat men richer and richer. Learn wind turbine or wind posts and rig up the house on that for power. Learn solar water heaters and get free hot water. Learn rain water collection and remove your family from the water system that is poison with fluoride which is poison (study this) among other metals that should not be there. Rip up the back yard, all of it, and plant fruit tree's, berries, a garden. Eat as much as possible from your own soil.

    6. Remove all junk, and I mean all of it. Sell off or give away every last item that has no worth, has not been touched in 2 months, etc. Get down to bare bone basics and even shrink the house or apartment to a smaller one, all to have a lower payment.

    7. Getting your own food from the land, getting free water from the sky (not a well as soon that will be regulated by the gov, in congress now), get free electric from the wind (not solar as that is oil guys again) and live as simple as possible. Which then means you need to work very little for their fake paper money that is worthless now. Actually worth 2 cents per 1 dollar.

    8. Doing that... will help save your future. If you remain in this material world, living on their system, buying their items, supplies and such. You are doomed to a life of slavery, misery, ulcers, stress beyond belief and working like a slave dog for a master you never see.

  10. Use energy wisely. Use water wisely; be conservative with natural resources. Water cleanses and Fire purifies. With heat, the globe is being purified. The water takes part by moderating the temperature - be pure and clean.

  11. Well, there are many different ways to help stop global warming.

    1. Recycle all your bottles and cans

    2. Turn off the lights when your not using them

    3. Take shorter showers

    4. Dont leave your fridge door open

    5. Use economy-friendly clothes and appliances (They save money and the earth)

    6. Unplug unnessicarry things when not in use (such as cell phone chargers, lights, game systems, ect.)

    7. Turn off the air-conditioner when the windows are open

    8. Dont use the heater unless nesscissary

    9. Carpool to places with friends instead of using seperate cars

    10. Dont use paper plates and paper cups because the coating on them makes it hard to recycle.

    11. Walk instead of going for a drive

    12. Refill your water bottles instead of buying new ones each time

    13. Dont let the water run too long

    14. Recycle your paper

    15. Give your old clothes to goodwill or sell them at a thrift store

  12. Don't wanna drown?  Do you think freezing would be better?

Be careful what you wish for.

    Warmer is better.

  13. Shoot a liberal politician. [with a water gun, not for real!] The  hot air generated by just ONE senator is  enough  to melt a glacier the size of the empire state building.

You're not gonna drown. Ice floats, meaning it can't displace any more water than they ever did, and the  antarctic glaciers are getting bigger, not smaller.

  14. did you know if you plant ONE tree it can absorb 2,600 pounds of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere in its lifetime. easy way to help global warming

  15. The temperatures are going to change whether you do anything or not. It's been happening throughout history. The environmental nuts just want you to think that you are responsible. Just relax and enjoy life. Let those environmental wackos stress themselves out.

  16. Don't use as much of electricity as you usually would.

Using hybrid cars would also work too.

  17. Global warming -- a gradual increase in planet-wide temperatures -- is now well documented and accepted by scientists as fact. A panel convened by the U.S National Research Council, the nation's premier science policy body, in June 2006 voiced a "high level of confidence" that Earth is the hottest it has been in at least 400 years, and possibly even the last 2,000 years. Studies indicate that the average global surface temperature has increased by approximately 0.5-1.0°F (0.3-0.6°C) over the last century. This is the largest increase in surface temperature in the last 1,000 years and scientists are predicting an even greater increase over this century. This warming is largely attributed to the increase of greenhouse gases (primarily carbon dioxide and methane) in the Earth's upper atmosphere caused by human burning of fossil fuels, industrial, farming, and deforestation activities.

Average global temperatures may increase by 1.4-5.8ºC (that's 2.5 - 10.4º F) by the end of the 21st century. Although the numbers sound small, they can trigger significant changes in climate. (The difference between global temperatures during an Ice Age and an ice-free period is only about 5ºC.) Besides resulting in more hot days, many scientists believe an increase in temperatures may lead to changes in precipitation and weather patterns. Warmer ocean water may result in more intense and frequent tropical storms and hurricanes. Sea levels are also expected to increase by 0.09 - 0.88 m. in the next century, mainly from melting glaciers and expanding seawater . Global warming may also affect wildlife and species that cannot survive in warmer environments may become extinct. Finally, human health is also at stake, as global warming may result in the spreading of certain diseases such as malaria, the flooding of major cities, a greater risk of heat stroke for individuals, and poor air quality.

Climate change is very likely having an impact now on our planet and its life, according to the latest installment of a report published by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). And the future problems caused by rising seas, growing deserts, and more frequent droughts all look set to affect the developing world more than rich countries, they add. The report is the second chapter of the IPCC's Fourth Assessment -- the most comprehensive summary yet of research into the causes and effects of climate change. Factors

    Greenhouse Gases

The increase in greenhouse gases caused by human activity is often cited as one of the major causes of global warming. These greenhouse gases reabsorb heat reflected from the Earth's surface, thus trapping the heat in our atmosphere. This natural process is essential for life on Earth because it plays an important role in regulating the Earth's temperature. However, over the last several hundred years, humans have been artificially increasing the concentration of these gases, mainly carbon dioxide and methane in the Earth's atmosphere. These gases build up and prevent additional thermal radiation from leaving the Earth, thereby trapping excess heat.

    Solar Variability & Global Warming

Some uncertainty remains about the role of natural variations in causing climate change. Solar variability certainly plays a minor role, but it looks like only a quarter of the recent variations can be attributed to the Sun. At most. During the initial discovery period of global warming, the magnitude of the influence of increased activity on the Sun was not well determined.

Solar irradiance changes have been measured reliably by satellites for only 30 years. These precise observations show changes of a few tenths of a percent that depend on the level of activity in the 11-year solar cycle. Changes over longer periods must be inferred from other sources. Estimates of earlier variations are important for calibrating the climate models. While a component of recent global warming may have been caused by the increased solar activity of the last solar cycle, that component was very small compared to the effects of additional greenhouse gases. According to a NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) press release, "...the solar increases do not have the ability to cause large global temperature increases...greenhouse gases are indeed playing the dominant role..." The Sun is once again less bright as we approach solar minimum, yet global warming continues.

GLOBAL WARMING HAS TO STOP BEFORE WE ALL DIE.

HUMANS MADE THIS MESS AND HUMANS ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN CLEAN IT UP!

    RECYCLE PLASTIC, BOTTLES AND PAPER.

    DONT BURN WOOD

    TURN OFF LIGHTS MORE OFTEN

    LOWER THE THERMOSTAT.

DONT KEEP CANDLES ON MORE THAN 2 HOURS.
