Tell me about PSP bricking and downgrading... few questions?

Question

- In order to download and put games on ur PSP (torrents, let's say), do you need to downgrade your psp?

- If you downgrade your psp, is there a chance of bricking?

- How does a PSP brick? What do you have to do? (Lol, I must know so I don't do it)

- Why would you want to downgrade your PSP firmware? To me, the up-to-date firmware is always the best.

- I've heard ppl downgrade PSPs so they can download and play old classic games. Does this apply to new games also? I mean... can I play new games w/o downgrading?

PSP seems cool... but I'm not sure if I should buy... especially with this bricking thing...

NO you can't brick your psp by putting Music/video/games etc...

you can only brick it if you play with Recovery Mode(only available for psp custom firmware), or trying to change the firmware...if i mess up my Recovery Mode, because i usually change Themes for my psps, i have Back-up files. So i just put them back in..and yah it works again..but with Custom firmware, if you don't do it right, you'd also brick it...i don't know if you've heard about it, but Pandora batter and Magic stick can downgrade/hack/unbrick your psp anytime..it'll put your psp in service mode and the magic stick will install the custom firmware for you...that's how Sony does it when you return the bricked psp to them, only if you don't void warranty by downgrading custom firmware, hope this helps..

LOL i just copied this and paste, i already answered your other question...PSP is worth every penny bro..i had the old and the Ice silver psp slim...it's the best thing that ever happened to Video game industries..

you can only put the games into your psp if you have custom firmware, you have to downgrade it..if you have anyone that can do it for you that's great...all you need is a pandora battery and a magic memory stick which anyone can make it...
