Tell me about anime?

i never have done anything about anime,now i want to get into it and so... can anyone tell me what anime is about? what are the most famous current famous anime shows? can anyone PLEASE point me in the right direction to get me more into anime!? PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!

Anime is a Japanese way of cartooning. There are lots of drawing books on Anime which you can find in lots of bookstores and sometimes libraries.

It's Japanese animation, I would look into Bleach or Naruto, to get an idea of the best that Anime has to offer, then if you like it, check out Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop or Dragonball Z. You can watch all of these shows online at animeviewer.net. Anime is animated Japanese cartoons, whereas Manga is Japanese comics
