  1. Come on, what kind of question is this? What do you want to know? As said before, be more specific.

Student in High School or University? Where: city or countryside?

    Where are you from?

Do you consider to go to Germany? For how long? As an exchange student?

The "Gymnasium" is Germany's form of high school and it runs from the 5th to the 13th grade.

Classes run from about 8:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday and the afternoons are free. After school clubs and activities, like soccer, dance, choir and drama are very popular.

Students attend classes according to their chosen field of study: languages, literature and arts, social sciences, or mathematics and natural sciences. Moreover students have the opportunity to choose a number of additional subjects.

The relationship between teacher and student is often more authoritarian than in other countries. Students address teachers with the formal "Sie." Students are encouraged to take an active part in daily lessons.

  2. be a bit more specific...

e.g. what country are you from? i assume US

well, a few very basic differences:

legal drinking age is 16 (beer)

legal driving age is 18 (license needed)

smoking is generally allowed in bars/restaurants, though there are some new restrictions this year...

violence and s*x in media is exactly the other way as in US, meaning you can get a a movie rated 6y+ depicting Til Schweiger giving a ******** (no, it's not shown explicitly, but "hinted at" doesn't say it right), but rip a guys head off? rated 18+...

do you know what town you want to go?

did you just ask how to apply for abroad studies?

did you want to know how to date german girls?

    what's your question?

  3. Well living in germany as a student is not a specific question!!!

most probably u are going t take admission in a university....

the cost of living in germany is around 600-700 euros per month!!
