Please be more specific with your question, where is it that you're trying to study?

If you mean America, which conceitedly I shall assume, then it's a very good environment which isnt too strict in college. If you want to do well, you work, and if you dont want to do well, you dont. There's no one who will force you to do otherwise. If you're here on a scholarship, however, it would be heavily advised that you take full advantage of all the options and resources you'll have here, American libraries, especially in colleges and universities, are stocked with books you may not find anywhere outside the continent (other than Europe, maybe..)

But enough of this, I don't even know if youre talking about America lol
