Tell me about your hope for the environment in future!?

I hope for clean energy.  Geothermal, solar and wind.  As that increases I hope that electric cars will follow and we can breath clean air from our energy sources and from the non fumes of our cars.

I hope building designers incorporate systems to store rainwater from roofs within a communal underground tank.

This is simple to organise when building a new development, and can lead to a catchment area of many acres of roofes. Indtead of rainwater just going into main drains - it should go into a local collection network.

With just 1 pressurising pump, this could be fed back to those homes for use as outdoor water - used for watering plants or washing cars etc.

It would be quite easy to arrange the supply to flick over to mains supply when the holding tank was empty - and would save a lot of water from being wasted.
