In 1901 the Australian colonies joined together as a Federation of states

Australia has free trade agreements with the US, NZ, Thailand and Singapore

The capital city is Canberra

The population is about 21m people

I know a lot about Australia, I live here but I don't know where to start....

I am yet to see a wild Koala, if I did I'd take it home even if they are feral.

Neighbours is my favourite show, most people like Home and Away though....

We like to claim famous people as our own: Mel Gibson came here when he was 12

We have a love/hate (brotherly??) relationship with New Zealand

We can get a bit full of ourselves, like America
