Foriegn study exposure is always good and desirable. The only question is whether one can afford it or not. But now the banks are extending study loans and also availability of scholarship with good score in GRE, it is now far easier to get admissions in foriegn universities.

Having said that a stay in foriegn university has always added a new perspective to many people- including our national leaders who studied in England etc

Even the current generation leaders be it from Business such as Ambanis/Mangalam or political such as Chidambram had foreign study stay

So conclusion is: study abroad if u can afford it

well this is B.tech 1st year from IIT Delhi,

i hav many plans to study abroad n d**n sure i'll head for germany

but for jobs the native place is the best
