  1. I would prefer that we have a system like European democracies do where presidential candidates have to work their way up  through experience rather than come out of the blue.  But it's our way of doing things, and until the laws change, we have to live within the boundaries of what we ourselves have created.

I'll say this for Obama: he is certainly the best public speaker of the three candidates.  He answers the questions he is asked, and unlike Clinton and McCain, doesn't hesitate in doing so.  It's no wonder that the actors you've mentioned favor him.  Besides his Liberal politics which are common to that community (of which many are highly educated), actors know that the most essential thing one needs to do is to learn one's lines.  Thus, they appreciate the delivery of Obama, because they intuitively recognize that he has done his homework.  Thinking on your feet is a Presidential necessity -- and one of the qualities which George Bush, Jr. has never mastered at all.  His inept public persona has done much to lower not only his general credibility, but also his prestige in the eyes of other world leaders.

So whatever the word is that you had in mind to fill in the blank, it's worth remembering that if Obama's opponents and detractors really have something better to offer, they need only tell us clearly what that is.  I for one, am hungry to have a viable alternative to him -- but see none as things stand, except to trust to some gut feeing based on emotional considerations, hopefulness, or my own prejudices and fears: which is certainly no way to make an "educated" vote.  Frankly, despite being a "Liberal" I think we're in for a rough ride unless McCain wins -- but thanks to the awful Bush legacy and the Republicans' inabiltiy to really divorce themselves from it and the pseudo-Conservative agenda , I think the chances for that are not so good.

  2. Judging from the names you listed I see nothing but a bunch of idiots.

Because some moron can remember lines a and make a B grade movie he's all of a sudden "smart"? Actors are among the dumbest creatures on earth. Keep in mind, if you can, that all those "smart" things they say in a movie or press conference SOMEBODY ELSE wrote!

  3. Free Publicity, no common sense, uneducated-where it really matters, uninformed, I guess I could go on and on, but I won't.

  4. movie stars are hardly highly educated,or did you mean over medicated? funny about half of the prominent democrats you mentioned aren't scandal free.ted kennedy is a murderer.richardson is a looser now trying to get a vp deal with obama.wow.i'm impressed, lol

  5. I think they don't know what they are doing.  Scares me to have Obama running in the lead.  One day, you'll see too.

  6. mislead, uninformed, socialists, maybe educated but sure lack common sense

  7. "Can all these people be [fill in the word]?"

    Answer: Misled

Bush also had a lot of educated supporters, as well as every other candidate. I am not sure what your point is.
