I want a different picnic spot, which should have - fishing, trekking, swimming,camp fire etc,

please suggest zara hatke spot.

    Location: Situated On Mumbai-Pune Highway.

These rock-cut cave temples dating back to 2nd century BC are amongst the oldest and finest examples of Buddhist rock-cut temple art in India, belonging to the Hinayana sect of Buddhism. Adventure seekers can try their hand at rock climbing at the Duke’s Nose peak and other locations in the Karia hills near Lonavala.

    1) Wai.  Flexi budget.

    Go to Gateway of India to catch a ferry to this place and explore the beaches and great local food.

    2) Karnala Bird Sanctuary

    A short drive on the Mumbai - Pune Highway from Mumbai.

    You'll get to see many rare birds. And loads of trekking.

    3) Manas hill Resort - Igatpuri. (AKA A beautiful place burning a hole in your pocket.)

    This place is one of the best places to go if its a rainy day with clouds entering in your cottage. But its expensive.

  6. check out some places near neral/Matheran.. there are a lots of waterfalls around the area.. accessible after a little trek. There are also some lesser known places nearby in Wangani, badlapur.. like the Dhangar waterfall near badlapur.
