  1. TripCentral and Bel Air Travels are a couple of excellent travel agencies. I'll give you a few links to check out....my suggestion is to shop online, see who offers the least expensive deal and if you find one cheaper, phone the agency and book in person. Ask them to match it or give you a lower price. Most usually do. And if you talk with the agent, it is better and easier to adjust your trip, room bookings, and anything else.

I'm not sure what part of Cuba you want to go to but Cayo Coco is a beautiful part of Cuba. I personally love Tryp Cayo Coco.

But if you are interested in other areas, the Sol Meliá resorts are excellent....food, accomodations, entertainment, service, etc.

Go through the Sol Meliá site and see the resorts for the area of your interest.

    Holguín (Guardalavaca) is beautiful too.

Santa Lucia (Camaguey) is also a nice area.

See the links below for pictures, hotel links and travel sites to check out. Tripcentral.ca always factors in the taxes and surcharges in the prices you see...

When booking any hotel, be sure it's at least a 4*.

And if you have time, go visit Havana for either a day trip or a two day trip through your resort.

Hopefully you can go for two weeks...that would be ideal for Cuba, especially the first time...so you can soak in all the amazing culture, old and new history, and really get to know the Cuban friends you will make.

Happy booking! Always the most exciting part of the trip when the booking becomes reality :-)

  2. Your best bet for finding the resort right for you is going to tripadvisor.com.  You can get ratings and reviews for just about any hotel and resort in the world.

The only resort I've been to in Cuba is Superclub Breezes Jibacoa.  It's halfway between Havana and Veradero, and it's very private with great snorkeling.  This resort is rated one of the highest in Cuba and is not very expensive.  I'm actually going back to the resort for the third time next week.

Once you find a resort on trip advisor that you might like to stay at, all you have to do is go onto travel sites to find the best price for that resort.  You can try Air Canada vacations,  sell off vacations, Sunwing, and Sunquest for starters.

It can be a little intimidating planning a trip to a foreign country. So if it gets to be too much trouble, you can always call a travel agent.  Just make sure you read reviews on the resort your going to make sure you have an idea of what to expect.

  3. First off ignore Kobe Bryant one of the posters above, there's always someone with nothing better to do who should get a life.  My favorite  resort is Sol Melia Rio Luna y Mares. Guardalavaca .  Check the links below for lots more info.  Booking online can save you money but check out two or three, prices can vary.  I've used selloff vacations, holiday markettravel, itravel2000  and belair travel, all with good results.

  4. okay you can book on travel sites like selloffvacations...etc.

depends how many stars youre looking for in a  hotel. Santiago De Cuba is good...i dont remember the hotels there

  5. If u go to Cuba, u are going at your own risk. They might not let you go back to Canada
