since ur so desperate for friends on a site i suggest u join orkut.com because u might find ppl of similar mentality who "want to make friendship." and then if he/she is from the same city then decide a place to meet up or add them to your google talk/yahoo messenger/msn messenger and get to know each other really well. that i guess is what works. its good advice. LOL!
