js Adams has provided you with good links.  I would add zagats.com to his list.  They are free for you to check out.  Aol.com also has a good city area for local ratings...Washingtonian's listings are my bible, tho.

You can find a million reviews and such online in various places.

To get honest reviews and knowing where to go requires your age, what you want to spend, what atmosphere, were you live and all of that. Driving 2 hours after a fine meal kind of screws up the intent.

Many places close in could afford a better experience and be more fine dining.

Narrow down what you are looking for a tad.
