  1. hacha mecha mucha kucha

    It's slang for very very

  2. tokidoki which is sometimes, umm.. itsutsu which is like if your counting things it would be 5 things

  3. Japanese uses loads of sound symbolism, some of those words can sound kind of funny to english speakers.. eg

    shaka-shaka = scraping noise

    funka-funka = sniff sniff

    bashi bashi = the sound of smacking someone on the head

    pocha pocha = splash in water

    there are loads more.

    I think the animal noises they have are hilarious.. and they think the ones we have are equally hilarious..

    kokekokko = cockerel noise

    boo-boo = pig noise (my favourite!)

    chuu-chuu = mouse noise

    hihiin = horse noise

    I guess this one is not really a single word, but some japanese sentences create kind of tongue twisters, like..

    食べたくなくなった

    tabetakunakunatta

    (It became that I did not want to eat - hard to translate directly)

  4. There are some interesting statements here:

    But undoubtedly the best one is:  "Sumomo mo momo mo momo no uchi," which means, "Apricots and peaches are both types of peaches."

    Oh, and "mushi mushi" is awesome!  They say it as a phone greeting!  Brilliant!

    Yeah.
