I think there are none anymore used to be Phil. Air Lines, training class is payable upon serving the airline deducted maybe 5 years salary so as the pilot has some take home salary.

because of the number of pilots available they just accept and re-train and if above the age limit, hire as contract.

Same I think for all Asian flag carriers.

Cathay Pacific but you need to be a Hong Kong resident.

Singapore Intl Airlines but you need to be Singaporean/Malay.
