Tell me the importance of a fax confirmation sheet?

It's just a little "I told you so" for when the dumb azz on the other end loses it, and her boss gets on her butt, and she tells him you never sent it, so her boss calls your boss and you can say "I sent it, here's the fax confirmation sheet".  Then go back to your desk and giggle....

It confirms that your fax went through sucessfully.  If you are faxing important information you should hold on to them in case the intended recipient says they never received your fax.
