Do you think that starting a buisness that runs garage sales for people as a summer job is a good one and if so how can i convince my parents

thats sounds like a fun business! do you mean setting up garage sales? how would you make money?

why are your parents against you starting this business? when you try to persuade them tell them how this business will benefit you: 1. you will make money. 2. you wont be trapped in the house for the whole summer. 3. if you do it with a friend, you could see that friend.

remeber not to yell when talking to your parents, and if your parents dont let you, try to think of another good idea: )

(babysitting, lemonade stand, bake sale ect.)

I'm not sure what you mean by "running" the garage sale.....if you mean getting everything together, pricing, selling......than that COULD be a good idea. I have a feeling that most people, myself included, would rather take care of that by themselves. You'd have to get their approval on everything first, they might as well be doing it all themselves, so why would they pay you. And unless you know the people that you're running the sale for, not a lot of people are going to trust someone off the street to sell their stuff. Just a thought......
