  1. Hey McG,

It is VERY hard to find a good airsoft gun that will last you. There is one gun I would highly recommend and it is the Crosman Pulse R72. It is a bit more than $50, coming in around $75, but just for a bit more it is a majorly better quality gun for that price.

Here are a couple of reviews I found about it (I'll post 3 of them):

    1. Things I liked:This gun is really great. Good ROF, good FPS, durable, hi cap magazine, can add lights and lasers to it, strong, long lasting battery. I shot my friend with it in the back A\and he got some really big welts and some cuts. Overall this is a really good gun, good for any airsoft player.

Things I would have changed:I wish you could put a silencer on it. Thats it.

What others should know:This is a very good gun, will not let you down in an airsoft war(whether its short or long), very durable so dont worry about messing it up that easily. Great gun.

    2. Things I liked:Very accurate, incredible hi-cap magazine (500rd.), nice rate of fire, easy to use sight, fps may only be 275 w/ .20 g bb's, but it feels and looks around 290-300 fps.

Things I would have changed:battery holder takes some time to get used to, shooting is kind of loud

What others should know:i took all of the weights out of the stock and took all but one of the rails off of the front hand grip to relieve some weight, i left only the rail on the bottom so that i had some sort of grip, some times i play without the stock, it makes the gun easier to carry but you lose the accuracy because u cant pull it up to your face and keep it shooting straight

    3. Things I liked:Light for the firepower (about 350 fps), large trigger guard, hop up adjustment, Holds about 300 rounds, and most importantly: DURABLE and UBER RELIABLE.

Things I would have changed:Rail system on top.

What others should know:I have had this gun for 2 years. Yes, 2 years of shooting several times a week and I have not had a single jam. I have dropped this gun about 3 times, just a scratch on the clip was all it suffered. I was shooting .12gr bbs, but now with age I switched to polished .20 and the only thing I ever had to do to this gun was to get a battery change. My friends have classic army guns and this gun competes with them. As far as accuracy goes, this is not a sniper rifle. But, it is accurate enough that the bullets stay within the sight and don't have any wicked curve. I would say this is a good medium range weapon. (good at about 50-65 yards). when my r72 has reached the end, I will buy a new one. Please take this review into consideration.

I know I used it about a year ago and loved it. You can check it out here http://flyntairsoft.com/crpur72blbyc.htm...

    Enjoy man.
