Dying within; Hurt run through my veins

In my eyes No one can understand my pain

I hope no one feels the pain I feel

I don’t know what’s worse; this heartache or to be killed

Each day to get up is a challenge for myself

It’s an eternal struggle not to hurt myself

Waiting for the end of this terrible dream

But I know I won’t wake up from this, it’s as real as it seems

What can you do when u feel so lost

If there’s a remedy to this situation, I will pay the cost

Cuz life like this is not worth living at all

There’s not much more I can take before I fall.

  1. A word that comes to my mind is isolation.

You stated "no one can understand my pain", meaning you feel as if no one is capable of putting themselves in your position to understand the depth of what you are feeling.

Pain comes to mind. Something of hurt that you have gone through or going through that is so excruciating to you that you are unsure if the pain itself will transcend you to a higher enlightenment or if "death" would seek release of the pain.

Overwhelming comes to mind. You feel overwhelmed by your emotions and pain that you are unsure if the test of what you are going through is worth it.

Some words of encouragement--- this too shall pass. How you perceive and view what you are going through can make you a stronger person through the experience of going through it. Take your experience and pain and find any positive aspect you can from it and build upon that.

  2. But then I realize what could be lost,

My future hopes, dreams, and that second of true happiness,

To falter now, I must not

For this moment my hurt may seem endless

The next moment of hope and joy will be wondrous

  3. Do not feel lonely.  Being alone perhaps you cannot help. The two are different. Growth is only through suffering. How about these lines from a Bob Dylan video:

      He lived brain bleedin'

      betrayed to decide

      iron ore poured bucket filled

      turning cold

      and she in between proud

      to steal like some raven

      fate driven

      deep fates try to resign

      O Omega

the violet eyes of his eyes

  4. Well these are thoughts I have had at diffrent points in my life. All I can say is what we feel today will come to pass in time. I know that when you are deep in this pain that seems so untrue.  But just as the sun is not exactley as high as it was yesterday, your pains not as exactley as fresh as it was yesterday.  Writing the poem suggests to me that you are ready to start letting yourself heal.  Keep writing its a great release.

  5. if u can write ur depressed problem in poetry , why dont u try to find a solution to ur problem by writing another poem.hey its just an advice it will b very beatiful  if u can get it right

  6. WOW! You have my respect... I am sorry you feel so bad. Put your feelings to your poems - it might get better. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Would you mind if I copied your poem? And, please, could you have a look at this one?  http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  7. I can relate to your poem. I have bipolar disorder which involves a lot of ups and downs. I'm medicated but medication doesn't solve things 100%. I have to make certain lifestyle changes to better myself as a person. I have been so depressed that I've thought about suicide but I have a lot to live for and I'm sure you do too. I cut myself occasionally and I have a psychiatrist and a therapist. Maybe you should get some help. That's the best thing that I ever did. They will help you address any problems and issues that you may have. You can email me if you want because I know exactly what you're going through.

  8. that is great! that is a great poem. Its sad but it will help people to know that other people feel the same way instead of just them feeling that way... its a great poem by the way.

  9. Why do we fall?

We fall so we can learn to pick ourselves up.

You've lost something and you're in mourning. You will over come this in time.
