  1. I don't know but I can't stand conformity. I purposely try to be different from other people.

  2. This relies heavily on our fundamental human need to be noticed, appreciated, needed, and loved. We try to be different because you want to be able to offer something to the world that no one else can, but when someone tells you to conform this is because of the damage it does to society's "perfect" world. It is harder to control something that falls outside of the predetermined factors that help guide everyday life, and for everyone to be different would cause anarchy.

  3. um i struggle to be the same as everyone else hahaha and im sorry but idk wat conform means so i cant asnwer your question fully sorry

  4. Heather sounds like a r****d. I wouldn't purposely try to be different or weird. I would just be myself, and be what I feel the most comfortable with. She looks like a loser goth : O

  5. Many people will tell you that there is a fundamental human need for attention, affection and appreciation, and there have been scientific double blind experiments that prove this unequivocally, however there are other needs that take priority, and some feed this conform/rebel chaos more effectively.

two examples of more fundamental needs are:

    1) The need to interact and function

    2) Survival

Many people are so bored with normal life, they intentionally create chaos for the sake of entertainment. For example, a person can hypocritically tell another person to conform because he has the power to, yet rebel against those with power over him with equal vigor and enthusiasm.

Many other people are so afraid of potential outcomes of current events, that might have a significant negative impact on their lifestyle. For example, a suit and tie businessman might heckle a protesting activist because of how their actions could affect stock prices, employment security or interest rates.

The universal truth here, in the end, is that people want the best of both worlds, even when it's not possible: The attention and affection that comes with individuality and fame, plus the security and safety that comes with uniformity and strength in numbers. When confronted with, and forced to make a choice on this matter, everyone reacts differently, thereby proving we are fundamentally unique. Some choose one side or the other, and defend their position with great fevor, whereas others flit between the two, like fence-sitters. You can often see the same types of people in political chatrooms, with Libs, Reps and flip flops arguing passionately with each other.
