  1. Actually it was drinking a cup of coffee, it tasted ok but at the bottom of the cup was a large wad of grease type material.  They gave me the coffee at no charge, wasn't that nice of them?

  2. Windjammer, Gainesville, Florida.  My dining companion found a roach in her glass AFTER she had drank her ice tea.  Guess what?  The restaurant closed not long after.  I had a similar experience several years ago with a live roach in my salad.  They offered to take .50 cents off of my bill.  .50 cents off of a $4 salad.  And yes, Ah Shucks is also closed down now.

  3. i dont get this problem, cuz i attend fine dining establishments

  4. in Egypt the water had rocks. It was discusting!!!

  5. The worst two were:

While eating an omelet at a Mom and Pop restaurant(I had been to many times before with no problems) I found a large fly in it. I stopped eating there. I really like the place but I don't want to risk going back.

I had an Irish coffee at an Irish festival and towards the bottom I found what looked like a mooshy chocolate chip cookie in the bottom.

  6. Found a fingernail on a pizza one time. That will ruin your appetite.

  7. alot

    - once in KFC i found a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnng hair in my sandwich ... ewww

    - a finger nail in a resturant once

    - a hair in baskin roubin

  8. eating a salad and finding worms crawling around the bottom

  9. I went to Carl's Jr with my boyfriend ( we shouldn't of have been eating there anyways)  and he had the 6 dollar burger and something slimy dripped from it! UGHHH. GROSS. We never went back there. Just the thought makes me gag.

  10. i have a few.

    the common hair in food.repulsive!

these next didnt happen to me but they are disgusting.

so i heard on the radio that story of the woman "finding" a real toe or finger in her wendys chili! eww but it was a plant, to get money. but still disgusting.

another was this old women had a really bitchy attitude to this waiter, and asked her food to be returned. well he took it back and about 3 or 4 of the male employees, you know "did some manly business" on her food, and sent it back. she later got hospitalized because of it.

thats what i call horridly disgusting!

  11. Late one night at a Waffle House in Virginia, some buddies and I stopped on the way back from the clubs....a freakin' pube in my hash browns!  I looked....the cook was a scrawny long-haired meth-head ex-con looking character.  This was a nappy pube!  So I tell the waitress, who, without removing her cigarette (no S**t, complete with big long ash on it), plucked it off my food, gave me the stink eye and wandered away.  We each put a penny on the table for a tip and walked off without paying.  You could have heard that old sea hag screeching from 10 miles out about paying for the food we didn't even touch!  At least there weren't any crabs attached to the pube, unless they burrowed into the hash browns for a snack.....

  12. Wedding anniversary several years ago.  Pricey new restaurant had opened, within a sculpture garden.  Newspaper gave it a lot of press: great restaurant, with the sculpture garden as a bonus.  Sounded just the thing.  Wait-staff didn't seem to know what to do with us.  When we were finally seated, the waiters/tresses spent most of their time discussing past/future plans & gossiping among themselves.  They were so inattentive, that they set the tablecloth on fire.  After they managed to put it out, they were just going to throw another cloth on top of the burnt one.  We spoke to the manager.  Things didn't improve with time.  When the food arrived, it was  mediocre.  To top it off, we were told that we couldn't visit the sculpture garden because  it was closed.  When  I mentioned the newspaper article & pointed to the people walking through the garden, the wait-staff simply repeated the same thing, as though it was some sort of mantra.  We filled out a survey form & sent it by private mail & received  no response whatsoever.
