America does not have much uranium for constructing nuclear plant whereas Russia have much Uranium. India have plenty of Thorium resources which is abundant in India. Nuclear plant also can be made with Thorium. That's the reason why America is making deal with India.

Though there are much arguments, we will not have as much as benefit as America from this deal. Because we cannot strenghen our Military from this. And whatever we construct, we are supposed to report to America whereas they never need to.

This deal will allow other nations to give us the latest technology and fuel for nuclear reactors which they can't give us right now because of sanctions imposed on us when india carried out it's first nuclear test in 1970.

nuclear electricity is the cheapest at this time and will become more cheaper in coming years.
