  1. The MCG easily.

Birthplace of test cricket, Australian Rules Football and the spiritual eipcentre for sport's loving Melbounites.

  2. MCg cos its the home of aussie rules footy and has alot of history and has a way better atmosphere compared to telstra dome which looks wierd hosting football matches especially if there big matches

  3. mcg. IT IS THE MOST FAMOUS ALL AROUND THE WORLD.

  4. MCG because of the history and the atmosphere and because it is a proper AFL venue, and grass grows properly...

The Dome is a great multipurpose venue, especially for the other football codes, but because of the surface and the view in some spots and it's size, it's just not exactly right for the AFL game...still a top venue for everything else...especially the soccer games there...really great.

  5. the dome is way better in winter, but in summer the mcg is gr8, for fotty games id rather go to telstra dome but for the cricker matches there is no better ground than the mcg

  6. telstra dome

i have never been to the G and not froze my bum off

at least the dome has more undercover protection

  7. Melbourne Cricket Ground by far. I don't like Telstra Dome (been to 6 or 7 games there), I miss Waverley Park. Grass at Telstra Dome just don't grow well because the roof is closed too often.

  8. MCG bcoz that is where the big games are played and there is a bigger atmosphere in there escpicially on significant games (eg: anzac day)

  9. I dont think either is better. I say SCG .

    1. At the SCG you feel like youre in the action.

    2. At the SCG it feels like youre a family being surrounded by people like you.

    3. A the SCG it feels cosy and unlike the MCG and telstra dome, you can actually see the players and fans opposite you!!!!

  10. Telstra Dome, because it has a roof, so people would not get wet when is raining. The MCG is too big and no roof so it is very easy to get lost and get wet. The Telstra Dome is closer to the train station than the MCG. This year i went to the Telstra Dome 5 times and the MCG O. There is also more securitys in MCG.

  11. MCG. no question about it!

  12. MCG

The Dome isn't an AFL ground, it's an international sporting arena. eg. Rugby both union and league, soccer, would be great for one dayers too, but doesn't seat enough. Concerts, wrestling.

Yes i have been there for the Football, and the viewing is fantastic, however Football is a winter sport ... NO ROOF.

The Dome is a grea venue, but not a true Australian Football Ground

  13. MCG because It's got a bigger stadium and has the GF match played on it. The ground isn't as s hit as the TD.

Where dreams are made and so on.

  14. definitely the MCG.. just because of the fantastic atmosphere.. not saying the Telstra Dome doesn't also have a great atmosphere! the best way to spend a sunny afternoon is being up at the MCG watching a great game of footy! =]
