Temp/ ventilator in Audi A4?

At what temp should the engine ventilator kick in? mine never rises above 90 degrees and the ventilator doesnt switch on....is this indication of a problem or is everything working fine? thanks

  2. i think you are thinking of the cooling system. i have never heard of a ventilator. if your engine temp never gets above 90 you probably have a stuck thuromastatolator, witch would keep the cooling system on, keep your engine cool, and probably effect your gas milage.
