  1. You'll probably get a few people saying "use warm water". But I find that birds just love to bathe in water that is cold (just don't let them dry in a draft, it can cause stress), or room temperature. Think about where your bird evolved, nature, where in the rain forest/outback/India is there warm water for a parrot to bathe in? None! So is this why they like to bathe in cool water? Maybe.

Some birds also like to be blown dry with a hair dryer/blower. Now, tell me where to find one of those in nature! LOL!

    Have fun getting squeaky clean!

  2. lukewarm... perfect temperature for all animals and humans

  3. i would say lukewarm in winter/fall and cool water in summer if you are blow drying be careful! birds can burn easily, but the dryer on cool and low and move it constantly. But it is better if they dry themselves. always give baths in the morning so they can preen throught the day and by the time its bedtime they will be dry and it gives them somthing to do throught the day
