Temperature monitoring software, Whats a good free one?

Just looking for something basic to monitor my new chip set and CPU. Thanks in advance :)

    You rmotherboard already has these features running in the background without you knowing it.Just go in your bios and you can see the temperture of the CPU , the rpm etc....

    When you start hearing a strange beep once in a while, that means that the CPU fan is under-performing and needs to be cleaned or changed. It is always a good idea to leave that monitoring on at all times.


  2. I like CoreTemp, link to the site is in the sources list.  I find it less temperamental to set up then Motherboard Monitor.

  3. Depends on what you want to monitor. For CPU temp I use CoreTemp. Speedfan works too. For video card temps I use ATI Tray Tools (since I have an ATI card). If you have an nVidia card you can use RivaTuner to see the video card temp I think. I haven't ever used RivaTuner though.
