Temperture drops at how many many degrees whille climbing?

while climbing the higher you get the colder it gets about how many degrees

below the dew point, every 100 metres up 1C drops

This really depends on the airmass, standard rates are just an approximation.   A very dense airmass that comes from canada is a lot different than the hills in the lower 48 states, generally.
