Temporarily stop yahoo group messages?

Question

I am going out of the country for three weeks and want to temporarily stop yahoo group messages. Is there a way to do this? I don't want to start bouncing back to the groups.

write the notice to the group- (or appoint a moderator)

go to management- under group settings click messages- Posting and Archives (Edit) <- click the edit- Who can post check off- click save changes-

save these instructions for resetting it on

Send an email to each group from your subscribed email address to the automated system (since it isn't read by a human, no message is necessary):

x*[e-mail]

(x*x=exact group name)

Before you ask, when you return, send an email to:

x*[e-mail]
