Temporary land phone connections in the US?

I would like to sign up for a new land phone connection in Atlanta,Ga (USA) for only 2 months, since I am only on a short period visit from Europe. I would like to know if there is any packages to suit my requirement together with DSL access from Verizon, Bell South(AT&T), Earthlink, Comcast, Speedfactory, etc.

if you bring a laptop with you, then just get a MagicJack and use your computer to make free calls!
