Temporary sound loss on television?

nearly everyday my tv sound goes off for about 3-5 seconds. it is really annoying can anyone tell me why this is happening. we have a freeview box attached. thank you

1) either your ear is broken

or

2) your tv is broken

change the one that is broken, problem solved.

you may want to access the menu on your tv and check out the audio options.

It's possible that one of your TV Audio Input wires is starting to burn out or is possibly damaged. You should check behind your TV to make sure, just so it doesn't start a fire. Um, also...have you tried making sure everything is properly pplugged into where it should? How old is your TV? If all else fails, look up a TV Mechanic and ask for the TV to be looked at. Hope your TV holds up and it gets fixed. I know my TV sometimes acts up. So, be patient and don't electracute yourself. :)
