Temporary vison loss help?

ok i get temporary vision loss like once in a while and it comes without warning and i usually fall down.ex. i was going up the stairs and all of a sudden i cant see and i fall on my face and after wards i cant remember how my vision was i can remember falling but i cant remember if my vison was blurry or if i had any vison at all please someone tell me whats wrong.
