Ten Possible Moves for David Beckham in 2011 – Part 2
Contd. From Part 1
David Beckham continued by saying that he has missed the English Premier League since he left it in 2003. He said that the Premiership is one of the greatest leagues in the world and he hopes to return to it one day.
He said that Manchester United was the most obvious and best choice for him in the English Premier League and he had always hoped that he would return to Old Trafford one day but that seems unlikely to him.
He commented on the Manchester United matter by saying that “I am not holding my breath on that one, but we will have to wait and see."
Beckham went on saying that the English Premier League is the greatest and most competitive league in the world. So now the question that comes to everybody’s mind is - where is this player is going to end up in 2011.
Here is a list of the ten most likely predictions for the English player:
10: Leicester City
Leicester City is currently coached by the former Three Lions manager Sven http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Goran-c15135 Eriksson. This Swedish manager has not made any efforts to make his desires of signing David Beckham to the Foxes a secret.
The thought of Beckham coming to the Walkers Stadium seem somewhat a fit as Beckham was the captain of the Three Lions squad during the time Eriksson was manager and during this time the national team went to three major Final
fixtures.
Still, the chances of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Beckham-c10432 moving to the Foxes seem a bit unlikely in spite of the fact that the team is coached by a man the English player has a very good relationship with.
Eriksson has already contacted Beckham twice with the intention of signing the player to Leicester City. In other news he has already contacted players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robbie-Keane-c31215 from Tottenham Hotspur.
In a press conference held at Leicester City, the Swedish coach commented on the matter by saying "I spoke to David's agent to see if there was a chance. He said it was not possible. I knew, but I had to try, if you talk about
Beckham, of course I would take Beckham, but I don't think he will go anywhere. The club he is playing for don't want another year like they had when he went to Milan.”
He continued in this matter by saying that it won’t be a fair move for such a star player to move to such a middle table club and it will also be an issue for the club to pay his fees.
Last Monday, Eriksson commented on the matter by saying that he is going to try to sign Beckham again and this would be the third time but he was pretty sure that Beck was not going to come.
