Ten biggest possible transfers of the summer – English Premier League (Part 1)
As the summer transfer window heats up, different English clubs are looking to strengthen their squads with what can be marquee players. Several clubs have already spotted their targets for the summer and are working towards what
can be monumental deals. Will this summer see what the winter transfer window brought us? Or will it be another dull transfer period with no big name players moving around and about? Let’s take a look a speculative list of what can be the biggest transfers
of the summer...
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799 to Manchester United
This is perhaps the biggest move that can take place in the 2011 summer transfer window. Sneijder is a class act; his displays at the international level and domestically for Inter Milan in the Serie A have been remarkable to say
the least. The only problem in such a situation is the price tag and his contract at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan. Currently under a length contract of more than three years at San Siro, Sneijder will be a difficult player to obtain with the market value that presently surrounds
his impervious talents.
No would think that Manchester United will break the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitar-Berbatov-c11254 in a player plus cash deal to the Italian
giants but whether or not Inter require another striker is a question in itself. What is beyond doubt is the belief that Sneijder would drastically improve Manchester United’s midfield. The Dutch playmaker plays just behind the front two strikers and one can
only imagine the havoc he will wreck when the striker’s that he is supplying are http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 and Javier Hernandez.
According to certain British media’s sources, the deal is a definite possibility but Sneijder’s wages are a main stumbling block in this situation. Manchester United’s strict wage structure might be the reason why http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-c36794 eventually
decides to stay at Inter Milan. However if the deal does go through then English Premier League will be a treat to watch in the 2011-2011 season and United will be firm favourites to retain their Premier League crown.
Javier Pastore to Chelsea
Chelsea are never afraid to spend big as it was evident in the winter transfer window when the Blues splashed a massive amount of cash on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Luiz-c10542. However that was January, Roman Abramovich’s team are going
through a transitional period. They finished nine points behind Manchester United and were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by the Red Devils at the quarterfinal stage. In order to compete against the European big boys and to dethrone Manchester United
once again in domestic competitions, Chelsea will need a replacement for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Frank-Lampard-c14097.
The Englishman was woeful for Chelsea in his performances throughout the 2010-2011 Premier League season. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082 is an ideal replacement for Frank as he is seen as one of the brightest talents to emerge from the Argentinean
football scene since http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296. Currently under contract at Palermo, Pastore will only move if his club are offered a great deal of money.
A price tag of around about 30 million is being touted at the moment but it can be cut down to 25 million if the negotiations go well between both the parties. A move to Chelsea will open up new horizons for Pastore as the Blues
regularly compete in the UEFA Champions League and for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, they will have a creative force which is desperately required to service the likes of Drogba and Torres.
