6. Philippe Mexes
Mexès showed a promising talent on the football grounds and became a favourite at Auxerre. He played among the youth ranks for about five years until he was promoted to the senior team. In 2004, Mexès decided to move on and it was not late before he signed
a four year contract with A.S. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 in the June of 2004. After making his Serie A team debut on September 12, 2004 the Frenchman unleashed his brilliant talents on the field and cemented his status as one of the finest players around.
The 29-year-old defender however, seems to be headed towards Milan this season, after a much prolonged spell at the Italian club. It is unlikely that the French player will now consider any offers from the Inter side. This talented and versatile player has
many options and only time will tell as to where he will end up after the transfer window closes.

The 26-year-old player is an epitome of versatility. Not only can he play in the middle, but is also an expert in playing as a defensive and an attacking mid-fielder. A product of Atalanta youth academy, Montolivo made his senior team debut in the 2003-04
season with the club. Following his spectacular performances the same season, the Italian helped Atalanta gain promotion to Serie A.
The summer transfer window of 2005 saw Montolivo sign a professional contract with Fiorentina club. He has made 182 appearances so far, netting in a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Total-c40747 of 13 goals. His outstanding performances in the football arena have attracted a horde of clubs, including
the two Milanese sides. The popular target is rumoured to have links with Inter and a €10 million deal could be on its way in the summer transfer window. Milan is also interested, but Inter remain favourite. It will be interesting to see what happens with
Montolivo, as the transfer window is getting closer and the price tag is getting higher.
4. Domenico Criscito
Domenico Criscito is an Italian professional football player from Cercola, Italy. The talented footballer is currently serving the Serie A club, Genoa. The versatile defender started his career as a centre-back, but is now positioned as either a left-back
or a left wing-back on the pitch. He joined the Genoa youth club in 2002 and proved his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Skills-c40539 in the football arena. After playing for Juventus from 2006 to 2009, Criscito was sent back to Genoa, first on loan and then on an official contract.
The 24-year-old is ready to be sold to Milan during the summer transfer window, as the club enjoys healthy relations with Genoa. Milan would need a much stronger side to revert the deal, rather than Inter alone.
