A Patriot loves his country and fears his government; so what else is new?  Play the game as the rules are written but try to get some right thinking non left wingers into office if possible to change the rules.

That is terrible.

Here in Wisconsin, we can buy rifles and shotguns and walk out with them the same day as long as the instant check with the NICS passes.  Handguns are another matter.  They require atleast 48 hours of wait time.  Unfortunately we have to pay sales tax too.  Here it's 5.5%.

Well in 1917 when some of my relatives (I'm of Hungarian Ancestory on my dad's side) fixed bayonets and went "Over the Top" with them it was an assault rifle.  The real answer is the basic ignorance of a liberal Lawmaker, besides if they tweak guns laws they can say they have done something about crime. Gun Collectors are a small voting block.

No one ever said these gun laws made sense. They just want to make it harder to get guns and therefore less appealing to buy them. Soon they will be so hard to get no one will want to buy them. Thus, making one more huge step in becoming a communist nation. NObama 08!!!!

Just goes to prove that gun control has no rational purpose.  Move up to Oregon, we don't have any waiting periods.  Gun shops play beat the clock to see how fast they can get you out the door with your purchase.
