  8. Can't find ONE reason to Vote McCain...

    OBAMA/BIDEN 08

    OBAMA/BIDEN 08

    OBAMA/BIDEN 08

    OBAMA/BIDEN 08

    OBAMA/BIDEN 08

  9. All I have so far are reasons not to vote for Obama.

His view that government should be expanded and empowered to deal with areas not permitted it by the Constitution is a reason not to vote for him.

McCain does not share this view to the degree that Obama does.  I guess that is a partial reason to vote for him.  Maybe.

  10. Although Obamas claim to fame is "change" and "hope" he has yet to do anything. Hes only been involved in the senate for three years (most of witch he spent running for president) So he really hasn't had time to prove he is capable of changing things. He hasn't proposed any bills to senate. All the voting he has done has been "present" not a yes or no vote. So until he does something to prove otherwise, it's nothing but a campaign full of empty promises.

The main reason to vote McCain is his ability to work with both sides. He has been involved in the U.S. senate for over 20 years (first took office in 84) Throughout his terms he has voted on, and proposed many bills that most claim to be "Democratic" (The McCain-Feingold Bill) He doesn't care what the label or stereotype on a bill is, he just wants to do whats best for the country. As for the war, McCain spent three years as a P.O.W. in Vietnam. If he is going to keep the troops in a state of war he knows what the will face. He wouldn't put them through it if he didn't believe it was the right thing to do and the best thing for America.

    So here are your choices:

McCain: 24 years experience, history of seeing both sides of issues, great knowledge of war.

Obama: 3 years of experience, no bills or voting history, empty promises.

Your Choice! (Thats whats so great about this country)

  11. McCain:

    100-year war

    deficit spending

Too old to last thru his term

    Flip flopper

    Keeps saying "My friends"

    Loses temper

Graduated near bottom of his class

Crashed several planes attempting to fly

Backed Bush 95% of the time

    Doesn't understand the economy

    Obama

    Flip flopper

    Raise taxes

    Deficit spending

    Doesn't understand the economy

    Elitist

    Can't bowl worth a d**n

    Inexperienced

    Rev Wright was his mentor

Chose Washington fixture for running mate

Makes excellent speeches but says nothing of substance

  12. Lower Personal Taxes -  Obama

    Diplomacy Matters - Obama

More Transparency in Govt - Obama

    End Torture - Obama

An End to Wasteful Govt Programs and Spending - Obama

    Job Creation  - Obama

Tax Credits for Homeowners - Obama

    Small business incentives - Obama

You like the way the country is going - McBush.

No seriuosly, McCain is against, has no plan or has a bad plan for these things.

I know everyone thinks McCain is better for taxes but that is simply a  lie.  he only is if you are making over 600K. Obama has better tax breaks for 90% of Americans.

  13. Top Ten Reasons to Vote for McCain

    10. He has a son in Iraq and one at the U.S. Naval Academy

    9. He knows all about torture.

    8. Maybe the Treasury Secretary will be able to catch up with him to bill him for the $25 million plus interest he owes the American people for his part in the Keating Five/S&L scandal.

    7. Maybe with a hot first lady the other nations will lighten up on us.

    6. Sarah Palin can grill up some awesome moose burgers for state dinners.

    5. He can prove his international relations experience with his Bangladeshi daughter (and the only one who would still be living at home) Bridget.

    4. They can install a swing in the capitol rotunda so he can prove how well he swings from right to left

    3. We'll never have a standing feud with another country because McCain won't be able to remember from one day to the next anyway.

    2. Sarah and Hillary ultimate fighting in the White House bowling alley.

    1. He's proof that you can loaf around and graduate last in your class and still make it to the top -- go slackers!

Ten Reasons Not to Vote for Obama

    10. I don't want my children to have a better education.

    9. I don't want a solution to the war in Iraq.

    8. I don't want the economy to improve.

    7. I fear change.

    6. I don't want the other nations of the world to respect the U.S. again.

    5. I don't want two former members of the senate foreign relations committee dealing with Kim Jong and that nutjob from Iran. I'd rather have the babelicious governor of Alaska show them some leg.

    4. I don't want more opportunities for my kids to go to college without a crushing debt load when they graduate.

    3. I don't want to own my own home again that I lost to foreclosure during the Bush administration, while McCain says if people are losing their homes, they should get a second job. Hello -- I had three jobs.

    2. I don't want the economy to get better and people to rejoin the middle class

    1. I'm too stupid to know that Hussein is a common Arabic name that means "handsome" and I insist on saying it gives Barry-O something in common with the late Saddam, Uday and Qusay Hussein.

  14. I can see that you've thought deeply about your obligation as a citizen to make an informed decision.

  15. There is only one good reason to vote for McCain.  If you think Bush is doing a great job and everything is fine in America, then McCain's your man.  Because he is committed to continuing all of Bush's policies and programs, and the war in Iraq.  He has said so again and again.

Despite all the rhetoric and arguments on both sides, there is only really one issue here.  The Same or Change.  And 'Change' is unspecified.

  16. I don;t think there are that many

  17. Americans need more of this kind off information on both candidates.  You may want to save this as a reminder come November.

    CAPITAL GAINS TAX

    MCCAIN

0% on home sales up to $500,000 per home (couples). McCain does not propose any change in existing home sales income tax.

    OBAMA

28% on profit from ALL home sales.  (How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. This proposal will adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement income.)

    DIVIDEND TAX

    MCCAIN

    15% (no change)

    OBAMA

39.6% - (How will this affect you? If you have any money invested in stock market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be paying nearly 40% of the money earned on taxes if Obama becomes president. The experts predict that 'Higher tax rates on dividends and capital gains would crash the stock market, yet do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.')

    INCOME TAX

    MCCAIN

    (no changes)

    Single making 30K - tax $4,500

    Single making 50K - tax $12,500

    Single making 75K - tax $18,750

    Married making 60K- tax $9,000

    Married making 75K - tax $18,750

    Married making 125K - tax $31,250

OBAMA (reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)

    Single making 30K - tax $8,400

    Single making 50K - tax $14,000

    Single making 75K - tax $23,250

    Married making 60K - tax $16,800

    Married making 75K - tax $21,000

    Married making 125K - tax $38,750

Under Obama, your taxes could almost double!

    INHERITANCE TAX

    MCCAIN

    - 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

    OBAMA

    Restore the inheritance tax

Many families have lost businesses, farms, ranches, and homes that have been in their families for generations because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their assets to loved ones will only lose them to these taxes.

    NEW TAXES PROPOSED BY OBAMA

New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 square feet.  New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already) New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water, electricity)  New taxes on retirement accounts, and last but not least....New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!
