Question:

Tender b*****s, but no ovulation, pregnancy or period!?

I have been doing OPK and have not ovulated yet, no period has started yet (would be too soon after miscarriage 2 weeks ago) and not pregnant. Has anyone had tender b*****s for no reason that got increasingly worse? I'm really confused about what's going on. Tenderness has started 2 days ago and are progressing.

  1. You  cant get pregnant or have period if you didnt ovulate.

  2. I wouldn't worry about OPKs yet, not until after you have a period. That may be a while since your body still has the pregnancy hormones floating around 2 weeks post miscarriage. Depending on how far along you were, your hormone levels are still probably high. Relax, let your body rest so it has the energy and resources it needs during your next cycle.

    Good Luck.

  3. My 1st miscarriage I ended up with a blighted ovum where the body continues to think that you're pregnant for a while, and symptoms came back. Did you have a d/c? The other possibility which would be the best possible scenario is that you miscarrid a twin, it can happen (it did to a friend of mine). I suggest that if symptoms get worse, or just for your own peace of mind you go and see your doctor. They can give you the normal hcg blood tests 48 or 72 hours apart to se what's going on. Good Luck!

  4. I agree you cant get pregnant if yo didn't ovulate.. you may have a period though. I had a period many times when taking OPK tests and didnt ovulate. Like wise you can ovulate and not get pregnant if there is some physical reason why you aren't getting pregnant, such as blocked tubes, fibroid, endo..the list goes on. My insight would be that your not pregnant. not this soon after a miscarriage. Your body has to adjust after the miscarry and your hormones have to get back to normal this can take time. I give you my dearest sympathy for your loss. Keep trying and don't give up.
