  1. Massage it gently and to hot and cold therapy.  Run hot bath water and have a bucket of cold water and switch it every five minutes.  do this four or five times, and end with the ice.

Frozen paper cup massages also work.  Just freeze a paper cup of water, peel the cup back, and rub it on.

capzasin cream will make it feel better while you are running on it.

Take anti-inflammatory drugs like advil or aleve.

Elevate it at night by putting your leg up on a pillow

Sometimes i notice when i do a lot of distance running my ankles flap loose and neutral and since they are not tensed they tend to jiggle and get sore.  calf raises will make sure your muscles are supporting the correct flexion of your ankle.

Really, though it wont heal up overnight.  It will probably nag you as you try to run on it for a while.

light taping goes a long way toward takign stress off of ankles.   Mine are taped right now because i was running in the woods on uneven ground.

Hope they feel better for ya.

  2. Go see a physiotherapist. Ultrasound treatments might help. Try a oral anti-immflamatory drug such as Advil or Aleve

  3. do you hear about myofascial trigger release? it will help you.. otherwise try the regular treatment as, rest, ice, tapping or compressive bandaging, ultrasound, SWD, and so on.. but consult physiotherapist and the myofascial trigger release, a popular treatment technique will definitely relieve you.. get well soon..

  4. my brother had it, it got really severe because he did to much work on it.

honestly, you might need to take it easy a while.
