Tennessee Titans’ Kenny Britt denies throwing punches in bar fight
Kenny Britt has insisted that he was not involved in an alleged bar fight that took place in a Nashville nightclub a couple of weeks ago. The second-year receiver remains under investigation from the NFL
and the law.
Britt said 26-year-old Harold Pointer falsely accused him of punching him during the fight. Britt attended Karma Lounge nightclub on October 22 when a fight between Pointer and some of Britt’s friends
ensued. Britt claims he was just trying to break up the fight and never threw any punches.
"We probably had some words throughout the time we were there, and probably the person that did touch him was probably with me, and he probably thought so, and now he's falsely accusing me," Britt said.
"That's what happens in my life.

Titans Coach Jeff Fisher benched Britt for the first quarter in Week 7 before he entered the game. He responded with a breakout game, catching seven passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns. His performance
helped the Titans trounce the Eagles with 27 fourth-quarter points for a 37-19 win.
In Week 8, Britt was injured in the first quarter, pulling his hamstring. Fisher has said that Britt could miss a significant amount of time due to the injury.
Nashville Attorney William Stover states that his client, Pointer, has told the truth. Pointer reported to police that Britt indeed struck him.
"There were several witnesses to this incident, and the police report account of the incident substantiates what Mr. Pointer has stated publically," he said.
Fisher has continued his own investigation of the alleged fight. Last week he visited the nightclub to gather facts. He is still gathering facts and may punish Britt further if indeed Britt was involved
in the fight. While Britt regrets what transpired, he doesn’t regret going out and maintains he’s innocent.
"I was definitely at the club. I was definitely having a good time," Britt said. "I'm 22 years old. I'm going to go out and try and have some fun and try to live like I'm 22 years old and not be an old
man."
