Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak confirms WR Kenny Britt questionable – NFL News
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt has not practised at all this week and coach Mike Munchak confirmed on Friday (Oct. 05) that the player is listed as questionable for this Sunday’s (Oct. 07) game versus the Minnesota Vikings.
Kenny sprained his left ankle in Titans’ last week game and since then has not hit the field for practice. He is now expected to be evaluated before the game to see if holds a chance to make to the field but from the situation prevalent at the movement he
appears to be a miss for the weekend’s game.
Coach Mike said:
"We'll have to see how the game goes and what kind of game it is. We're going there to win, and we need him on the field, So if he can help us win, we're doing that. We'll have to see how he is on Sunday. If we have to limit him, we'll decide what package
to keep him in."
The official further said although linebacker Colin McCarthy had some practice this week, he too will be assessed before the game to determine his chances.
He said:
"Whoever is healthy to play and we feel can help us will go in there and play. If we feel they're both good and can contribute to Sunday, then we'll have them on the field."
Meanwhile, tight end Jared Cook said he was feeling better and might be able to join the squad for the forthcoming game. He is recovering from a shoulder injury and has done workout this week. The team has not updated his status and there is a possibility
he might well be out of the side just to avoid any complication.
The coach did not elaborate how much he expects the team to be affected in absence of some key players. Their first-year leader quarterback Jake Locker is already out with a separated shoulder and former starter Matt Hasselbeck will start at his position
in the next game. He had replaced him for about three quarters of the last game as Locker did not return to finish the game after injuring himself in the first quarter.
