Tennessee Titans hope to take giant leap forward in pass-rushing after Keith Millard’s lessons
Tennessee Titans’ new pass-rushing assistant coach, Keith Millard, is making full use of the given mandate of overhauling the team’s pass-rushing completely, and some of the players have admitted knowing very little about the pass-rushing
before Keith’s lessons.
Titans finished the 2011 National Football League (NFL) season at the second last position, with only 28 sacks, and the team wants to avoid the performance next season and beyond.
It prompted them to hire a full-time coach for pass-rushing, Millard. The team has given the coach an authority of beginning everything from scratch. So far, the official has been successful in teaching pass-rushing to Titans, much to
the satisfaction of the players at the position.
Defensive tackle, Karl Klug, said:
“He’s teaching a lot of different stuff than what we went through last year. Everything, from footwork to the rhythm of the pass rush that he’s been getting us to learn, has kind of been a struggle for most of us.”
It is yet to be seen how much Titans benefit out of the new coach’s approach and workout, but the coordinator is seemingly liked by the players. This has encouraged the official to put in more efforts into the training.

it takes a while to get used to.”
Titans managers are happy with the fact that the players are taking keen interest in learning pass rush and this should complement the team’s performance at other positions.
The team was unlucky to miss the playoffs last season due to its inconsistent performance. The defence’s weaker output was the leading factor behind their struggle in the later part of the regular season.
Still they remain one of the toughest combinations in the American Football Conference (AFC) South division along with the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans.
Coach, Mike Munchak, hopes the team is through to playoffs in the 2012 NFL season, and workout of the coaches at all positions is going to be crucial to meet that target.
