I have researched and cannot find any information on these charges. First time offenders, do they always get the book thrown at them or does it just depend?

  1. This is from the state of Tennessee website which will show you the definitions of the crimes and the penalties---which will differ depending on the facts of the case.

  2. It is the "reckless" that worries me.  An Aggravated Assault is pretty bad but a first timer can get lucky.   Do you know what the reckless refers to in this exact case (i know what it means in the law)?  I don't think you are going to get lucky.
