Tennis/Age?

Guys I'm 17 years old. I started playing tennis about a week ago, and I can already play pretty good with some of the guys on the tennis team. I was just wondering if it is to late to start if want to play seriously?

its never to late.. but i can tell you that if you arent decent at it from the beggining.. your going to have a very hard time becoming good

Depends on your athleticism, and natural skill. Some have it, some don't. Sounds like you are competitive with people who have been playing a lot longer than you, so go for it.

What do you have to lose, especially if you find it fun?

Too late for turning pro. Most kids start around 5 and still can't get past futures tournaments. However, you have more than enough time to become a decent 4.5 in a few years.
