Tennis Ball from Ebay. How can i tell if its genuine?

Ive been assured that this tennis ball has been hand signed by Rafael Nadal. The ball comes with a Hologram Certificate of Authenticity (COA) from Authentic Memorabilia Inc. which features a double serialized, double die cut security hologram. A serialized hologram has been placed on the ball and matches the corresponding Certificate of Authenticity. Is this fake or real ? how could i tell they also have photo proof saying they took a photo after he signed it.

E-bay is notorious for counterfeit items, sorry if you bought it off of E-bay there is no guarantee.

I won't trust it! unless you call the company and verify the authenticity with the cert.

I'm sorry but I doubt this is real. The only way it would be real is if it came from some Nadal Fan Club and he hand signed so many for his members. Otherwise, when he signs balls at games, no one puts holograms or serials on the balls. Actually, the fans are the ones that usually brings the balls and he just signs them. Thats probably why you don't see tennis players walk out with their racquet and a huge basket of serial balls/COA.

As for the picture, you can go to any fan site and steal some fans picture and claim that its you taking a picture with him. That would be the easiest part.

I bought a Federer signed photo off of eBay and it looks genuine. I don't think people lie that much and in your case it seems pretty legit. As long as you can afford it easily then why not buy it! By the way I saw Nadal play at Wimbledon last year on Centre court!

There really is no way to know. I would buy it if you want it, and if it's not genuine you can always get your money back.

The fact that they have a COA makes it seem pretty legit.
