Tennis: Double faults

I'm having trouble with second serves. I've been told that you put top spin to get it in but all it does is dunk it into the net. HELP

  1. Hit it higher. Gravity will do the rest.

    Also, check that your grip is correct. Your thumb should rest on the same plane as the hitting face of the racquet to generate top spin. Aim to serve twice the height of the tennis net from the ground.


  2. Well you should lean back jump and give the ball a stike up a little more then from the 1st serve !! and after that you can add the extra spin !!

  3. try to practice more for practice makes perfect... but then, you may change your sport if you are not really good in serving...
