  1. Are you kidding right ? lol If not well here ya go

The four Grand Slam tournaments are the most important tennis events of the year in terms of world ranking points, tradition, prize-money awarded, and public attention they are French Open, Wimbledon, US Open, Austrailian Open.

Grand Slams..... In tennis, a singles player or doubles team that wins all four Grand Slam titles in the same year is said to have achieved the Grand Slam or a Calendar Year Grand Slam. If the player or team wins all four consecutively, but not in the same calendar year, it is called a Non-Calendar Year Grand Slam. If a player wins all four at some point in his or her career, even if not consecutively, it is called a Career Grand Slam. Winning three of the four tournaments is called a Small Slam.

Ana Ivanovic did participate at this years wimbledon however she failed to live up to her #1 postion by losing to Chinese wildcard Zheng Jie in the third round on Friday. She lost 6-1 6-4.

And yes Mr Tim Henman is retired aha ! However he is now commentating for the bbc lol Jeez he is soooo annoying..... You get him out of tennis and now he`s in the background commentating and talking rubbish. !

  2. A grand slam is a major tennis event, there are 4 per annum, which are the Australian open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US open.

Ivanovic did take part in Wimbledon,  I think she lost in th quarter final. Tim Henman did retire.

And - a game of tennis is split into games, sets and finally a match.  For a player to win a set he/she must win 6 games before their opponent. Its expected for the player serving to win a game. A break point is when the player who is not serving has won more points in the game than the server, and has a chance to win the game. In a grand slam event a male player must win 3 sets to win the match, a female must win 2 sets to win the match. In non grand slam events a male player only needs to win 2 sets to win a match.
