Question:

Tennis Racket re-stringing?

I have a Dunlop Aerogel 300 and tomorrow I plan on going to Cayman sports and getting it restrung. About how much will it be (like an approximate range for synthetic strings) and about how long will it take (again, a range is good)? Also, what strings would you recommend for a power hitter, and what string tension?

  1. synthetics are cheap and usually less than $10 and if the stringer is good it shouldn't take longer than an hour. I would recommend a hybrid maybe the babolat pro hurricane tour with Xcel (it costs $14) at 55lbs

  2. I would reccomend the cheap ones cuz in tennis rackets they fit in well

  3. Asking a personal stringer would be cheaper than gong to a sports store. The only problem is that the personal stringer would not have a variety of strings.
